Beautiful and modernly furnished villa Sanja with a swimming pool in the small town of Plovanija is located in the north of Istria and is surrounded by the most beautiful towns in Istria such as Buje , Umag , Porec , Rovinj and many others. Villa Sanja is 8 km from the town of Umag and only 5 km from Kanegra Beach . Pula Airport is 65 km away.

The house is suitable for 8 + 2 persons . Inside the house there is a comfortable living room with LCD and an open fully equipped kitchen and dining area. Each of the 4 bedrooms has its own bathroom, LCD and air conditioning, as well as a private terrace that offers beautiful views of the garden and pool. The dining room has access to the pool area and outdoor dining area. The charcoal grill in the garden is perfect for preparing delicious summer dishes. In the sun you can relax by the Great Private Pool and prepare delicious specialties on the grill . If you want to eat outside, there are 2 covered terraces. We have WiFi andprivate parking available to our guests.

Plovanija - Buje

Plovanija is a small and beautiful village located in northern Istria and administratively belongs to the town of Buje , Istria County, Croatia. It is located near the state border with Slovenia and 6 km from the town of Buje.

The fertile Plovanija and Buje area is a mildly hilly area with a Mediterranean climate. The vineyards and olive groves, making a typical Istrian landscape. Velvety hills were inhabited in the Bronze Age, the Histri built their prehistoric hill-forts, the Romans founded colonies. And one of the most beautiful views of green Istria is adorned by the one-time imposing medieval castle at the steep uplift of Momjan. Here, you can also find one of the most famous wine roads in Croatia, with 23 famous wine-makers, and it is also a great pleasure to explore the olive oil roads, where you can discover everything about the production and processing this well-known produce, with appropriate tastings.

Kanegra beach is the closest beach located near Savudrija and only 5 km from Villa Sanja. It is a long pebble beach and certainly one of the most attractive in Istria. Shiny pebbles bathed in the blue sea and lush green forest in the background create a unique atmosphere, perfect for relaxation and real pleasure during your holiday. The comfortable shade is ideal for a day-long stay at the beach with children, while the tourist resort offers various hospitality and tourist amenities.

Umag

Umag in Istria is only 10 km from Villa Sanja and village of Plovanija. Umag conquers with its allure, diversity, and richness of the tourist offer. Umag is a town of around 13,000 inhabitants which with about 45 km of the coastline and interesting hinterland integrates special features of the whole region and might be the best introduction into a different experience of the Mediterranean.

The hinterland of Umag reveals beautiful hills with fortifications that offer us magnificent scenery and marvelous history, an abundance of autochthonous agricultural specialties and friendly hosts. Sea in Umag is crystal clear and suitable for swimming from May till October.

The lighthouse of Cape Savudrija in Umag is the oldest Croatian lighthouse built-in 1818 on the northwestern cape of the Istrian peninsula. It consists of a round stone tower, 2 buildings on the ground floor, and a third building that includes the ground floor, first floor, and attic with a total area of 530 m2.
